Just 16% of Americans have a favorable opinion of hipsters, a new PPP poll on the much-discussed subculture shows. 42% have an unfavorable opinion of hipsters, and 43% aren’t sure. Democrats (18% favorable, 34% unfav) are twice as likely as Republicans (9% fav, 48% unfav) to have a favorable opinion. Voters age 18-29 have a favorable opinion of them (43% fav-29% unfav), but very few voters over age 65 do (6% fav -37% unfav).
According to the Barclaycard survey, two fifths (39 per cent) of those who told lies put their dishonesty down “to feeling the pressure of needing to have a good time or sound upbeat in their updates”. Almost one in three admitted that “their lives are simply too boring without embellishment”. The cycle is perpetuated by four out of ten who then admit to feeling envious of their friends’ positive posts and news.
Men, who were more likey to lie on Twitter than Facebook, were also found to be twice as likely as women to want to impress their workplace colleagues (22 per cent compared to 8 per cent).
Women were twice as likely to use photo apps such as Instagram to make their pictures appear more flattering, although just 12 per cent said they had actually done so.

How did it come about?
Daryl and T-Bone Wolk b.s.’ing. All the good ideas arise when you’re relaxing, in the shower, doing something else.
And unlike most people, Daryl said LET’S DO IT!
And he paid for it himself.
