The changing Youtube (via Gadget Lab | Wired.com)

futuristgerd:

“The old YouTube you knew (and maybe loved!) is gone. It’s been replaced by something that’s a lot more like a play-anywhere, device-agnostic, multi-channel network. It’s becoming a cable network for people who don’t have cable. YouTube doesn’t want you to watch videos anymore — not in the singular sense, at least. It wants you to stick around and see what comes next…”

Gerd adds: makes total sense. Cable TV without Cable. Absolutely. A long-term, ultra smart investment by Google.

Remember, in this context:

Glad you are catching up.

About

You know, it's like that rack you have in the bathroom filled with magazines of all sorts. Or the stack on the back of the toilet. This is a typical tumblr, which means its a mix between personal thoughts and uncredited stuff that usually falls in the "meta" category.

I used to be the I'm Feeling Lucky button for Schlomo because I used to make videos before YouTube. That wonderful time to be on the Internet is documented here.

I twitter here.

And I have an About page that shows my disemtumblrated self. It also has me in a seersucker suit to show my professionalism. All business on all sides, not just in the back. You can find that here.
